Nearly 1,000 students each year grow musically and personally through experiences in MYAC's orchestra, chamber music, jazz, and choral programs. The non-profit organization’s programs include professional clinician workshops, music theory classes, and numerous performance opportunities. MYAC is committed to supporting families by providing need-based financial aid to ensure all interested students can participate. Ken’s service and support of MYAC’s mission is exemplary. During his tenure on the MYAC Board of Directors, Ken served on the Executive Committee and was the organization’s Corporate Secretary for twelve years. He was regularly involved in governance, operational, and long-term planning matters including a complete re-write of the organization’s bylaws. Ken also oversaw the negotiation and eventual purchase of more than four acres of land along Sheridan Road in Highwood, Illinois where MYAC is now housed.
The Firm salutes Ken for his dedicated service to the Midwest Young Artists Conservatory and congratulates him on this well-deserved honor.
